Hello.

Yes i know I'm pretty lazy and i did no hacking for this project for
at leat three month now. Sorry.

But now to the good news. :)

Thanks to a nice company, i now recieved a copy of the ISO standard,
which should allow me to verify and perhaps improve the existing code.

So here are my roadmap:

1. Holiday until the middle of august.

2. Verify existing code. Perhaps improve it. Squash bugs on the way.

3. Release one or two development snapshots.

4. Release a, hopefully, stable release of iec16022.

5. Start work on barcode integration of this stable version.

6. Afterwards all the encoding stuff is done right, i can take a look
at the decoding stuff. The most difficult part should be the first
step. Get the bitstream from the image. The steps afterwards we can
reuse a lot code.

But one problem is still remaining. I don't have a reader so far. I
wasn't able to get one of these java reader working on my mobil until
now. And i think a hardware reader would make more sense anyway.

So if you like to see progress in this project and want to donate a
hardware reader, even only temporarily, please get in contact with me.

Hopefully i have not annoyed too much people until now.

regards
Stefan Schmidt
